I don't like every new music video I come across on YouTube. When I was a teenager I'd spend hours watching MTV. I loved nearly every new music video I came across, especially those of the soul and rock genres. Now my taste in music is paradoxically more eclectic yet increasingly discerning. A new music video that looks and feels like the over-hyped, contrived nonsense which is churned out twenty to the dozen these days has no appeal. There is a new music video on YouTube that does appeal to me. It features Paolo Nutini singing a live cover of Sash Mo's "What a Wonderful World." This new music video also includes a shadow puppet show by Australian magician, Raymond Crowe. Paolo Nutini is a gifted twenty-year old singer from Paisley, Scotland. His distinctive, expressive voice sets him apart from his contemporaries. However, don't just take my word for it. Judge for yourself and watch this new music video:
