Where can you get some new music videos?
Believe it or not, YouTube features some new music videos, often uncut music videos.
"4 Minutes" starring Madonna and featuring Justin Timberlake and Timberland is one of the most popular music videos on YouTube. Madonna released "4 Minutes" on YouTube.
Much of the music industry is against YouTube due to copyright infringement issues. However, artists like Madonna are intelligent in that they realize that they can use YouTube as a vehicle to catapult their music video into success.
You can also watch Madonna's old school music videos on YouTube, such as "Vogue", "Material Girl, "Papa Don't Preach", etc. YouTube is a great way to access old school videos that aren't as much as in high demand as the new music videos.
Michael Jackson also takes advantage of YouTube through having his own channel which offers all his music videos. In Michael Jackson's case, embedding is not allowed.
Do you think artists should take advantage of YouTube as a marketing outlet? I think they should. Rather than become threatened by the YouTube technology, the music industry should embrace it as a way to get even more exposure.
