new music video, uncut music video

I've been disgusted by MTV for years now. Even though MTV's supposed reason for existing is to play music videos of popular artists, most of their programming time is taken up with crappy reality programming, or shows hosted by no-talented asshats like Carson Daley. Blech. So most of the time, if I want to watch a new music video, I click over to VH1 or one of the other cable channels that will show an uncut music video. Sometimes, I'm forced to go online to down music video content for bands that MTV and VH1 won't play because my musical tastes don't coincide with their limited playlists. However, now there's a new website where you can view an uncut music video of your favorite artist. According to a brief article that I found on the Internet, "Universal Music Group announced Wednesday that it has joined EMI and Sony BMG in backing Santa Monica-based PluggedIn...The web site features music videos from artists such as Gwen Stefani, Green Day, Coldplay and Norah Jones and is powered by a new media player that supports full-screen high-definition video." I don't know about you, but that sounds like a lot more appealing way to find a new music video than camping out waiting for MTV to show something good.
