new music videoJust in the sense that video killed the radio star; such is the same and true now for new music videos. MTV is gone, replaced instead with a terrible line up of who-cares reality TV shows that truly bite. Gone are the days where every few minutes you would see new music videos on MTV. They really ought to change the name to Reality TV, because they rarely play new music videos, with the exception to at three in the morning when nobody is really watching. This is why so many avid music lovers are flocking to popular video file sharing websites, like Youtube—where they can watch as many new music videos as they so desire. The best part about sites like this is that you can watch new music videos commercial free. So in the end it’s actually a good thing that the heydays of MTV and other music video stations are over. Because I would much rather watch commercial free and new music videos than have to bear through the brunt of standard fare television ever again.
