I’m unimpressed by many of the new music videos I see. One new music video I watched recently is Maria Carey’s Touch My Body. I can’t claim to like the song that accompanies this new music video. Maria Carey has a great singing voice but I think that she has sold out. Maria’s recent material doesn’t showcase her talent the way her earlier work did. However, at least this new music video is vaguely funny. It shows Maria indulging the fantasies of a computer nerd. This new music video amuses but it also makes me wish Maria Carey would put some clothes on. She still has a great body and I don’t blame her for being proud of it at all. However, I think that by the time you reach the age of thirty-eight you should maybe think about dressing as though you have some class. I used to respect Maria Carey far more than I do now. When she first came out I was awed by her amazing singing voice. Now I think that the songs she releases sound insipid and she dresses like an eighteen year old prostitute. Instead of improving with age, Maria Carey deteriorates, which I think is a great shame.
